Thomas Morey Santenay Vieilles Vignes 2021 (1x75cl)

Santenay sits at the southern end of the Cote de Beaune and is one of the quieter village names in Burgundy — which is generally why people who drink a lot of Burgundy end up looking here.

"Vieilles Vignes" on the label means old vines. Older vines usually crop less and are valued for giving more concentrated fruit, which is why producers bother to put the words on the bottle at all. A sensible pick for a dinner where Burgundy is expected but the famous village names are not necessary.
