Sena 2020 (1x75cl)

Seña is a Bordeaux-style blend from the Aconcagua Valley in Chile. The 2020 is the younger end of the range, so it comes across with more upfront fruit and a tighter frame than the older vintages.

Decant this one and don't rush it — an hour of air usually makes a difference on a young vintage. Good with steak or braised dishes, and a straightforward gift bottle when you want something recognisable but not fussy.

Tasting notes

Young Aconcagua blends usually show dark berry fruit, a touch of graphite and firm tannins that are still settling. Wines like this typically open up with air and will generally keep developing over the next few years.
