Olmeca Blanco Tequila (1x75cl)

Blanco tequila is unaged or only briefly rested, so it never picks up oak. What you get instead is the fresh, peppery agave character straight through, which is exactly what you want when the tequila is going into a drink rather than a tasting glass.

This is the bottle you keep for mixing: margaritas, palomas, tequila and soda with a wedge of lime. Buy it before people come over, not after.

Tasting notes

Blanco tequila from Jalisco usually shows clean cooked-agave character with citrus and a peppery bite. Keep it cold and it typically mixes best with plenty of lime.
