Macallan Edition No.4 (1x70cl)

Edition No.4 is part of Macallan's Edition series, released annually in limited quantities and carrying no age statement. Each release in the series is its own thing rather than a repeat of the last one, which is a big part of why people hold onto them.

Macallan needs no introduction as a gift in Hong Kong, and a numbered limited release gives it a bit more weight than a standard bottling. Keep it for a dinner worth marking, or pass it to someone who already has a shelf going.

Tasting notes

Speyside single malt usually leans towards orchard fruit, honey, vanilla and gentle spice rather than smoke or peat. Try it neat first, then add a few drops of water and see how it shifts.
