Le Dix de Los Vascos 2014 (1x75cl)

This is the top bottling from Los Vascos in Chile's Colchagua Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon led. It is a 2014, so it has had more than ten years in the bottle already — you are not buying something you need to hide in a cupboard for years.

Works for a steak dinner at home, or as a client gift when you want something with real age on the label but not a Bordeaux price tag. Open it 30 minutes before pouring.

Tasting notes

Aged Cabernet from Colchagua usually leans on blackcurrant and dark plum, with cedar, tobacco and a little dried herb coming through with time, and tannins that have softened rather than gripped.
