Larsen XO Reserve (1x70cl)

An XO grade Cognac, which means the youngest brandy in the blend has spent at least ten years in barrel. That extra time usually shows up as a softer, rounder spirit with more dried fruit and wood character than younger grades.

This is the bottle you keep for after dinner, or hand over as a client gift when you don't know the person's taste well. Cognac is still one of the safest gifts in Hong Kong for exactly that reason. Neat in a small glass is plenty, no ice needed.

Tasting notes

XO Cognac typically shows dried fig and raisin, orange peel, vanilla and a little spice from long barrel ageing, finishing warm and smooth. Drink it neat at room temperature and give it a minute in the glass.
