Kante, Sauvignon 2014 (1x75cl)

It is rare to find a Sauvignon blanc as unique as the one produced by Edi Kante in the town of Carso in Venezia-Giulia. Grey limestone soil, proximity to the sea, and elevation of over 800 feet all contribute to the vibrancy of flavors that come together in this beauty. Lime leaf, mint, white peaches, and chamomile-honey meld together in a medium-bodied wine with a lingering finish. Pairs well with simple seafood dishes like the local Gamberoni (king prawns) that are typical in the region.
