White Burgundy is one of the more useful whites at a Hong Kong table: steamed fish, scallops, chicken, anything with butter or cream. It also gives a good gift when the person already has enough red.

Tasting notes

Cote de Beaune Chardonnay usually shows citrus, white peach and a stony, mineral edge, with more texture and length than an everyday white. Serve around 11-12°C — too cold and you lose the middle of the wine.
