Hamilton Russell Chardonnay 2022 (1x75cl)

Hemel-en-Aarde Valley is one of South Africa's coolest wine regions, and Hamilton Russell is one of its most established Chardonnay producers. Wines from here usually favour restraint over richness, with oak used to frame the fruit rather than dominate it.

A good bottle for a seafood dinner, or for gifting to someone who leans towards Burgundy-style whites.

Expect citrus and white peach, a flinty, mineral edge, and subtle, well-judged oak with a long, saline finish.
