Glendullan 23 years old 1972 Rare Malts (1x70cl)

A Speyside single malt distilled in 1972 and bottled at 23 years old, released under the Rare Malts series name printed on the label. That puts bottling in the mid-1990s, so the glass has been sitting for about thirty years on top of the 23 years in cask.

Whisky stops maturing once it is bottled, so the extra time in glass does not add age. It does mean fill level and seal vary from bottle to bottle, and we cannot promise condition. This one is aimed at collectors and at people who buy by distillery and vintage.

Tasting notes

Speyside malts of this age usually show dried orchard fruit, honey and oak spice, often with more concentration than a younger bottling. Old bottles vary individually.
