An aged white Bordeaux is an unusual thing to find and an unusual thing to drink. Pessac-Leognan whites are built from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, and the few that are kept this long usually move away from fresh citrus into something nuttier and more savoury.

To be clear: bottles with over thirty years on them vary a lot, and we can't promise the condition of any one of them. Open it for someone who enjoys the gamble, serve it cool but not ice cold, and use proper glasses. Free delivery in Hong Kong over HK$800, flat HK$80 below.

Tasting notes

Aged white Bordeaux typically drifts towards honey, dried citrus, nuts and a waxy note, usually with less fresh fruit than a young bottle, though old whites differ bottle to bottle.
