David Moret Meursault-Perrières 1er Cru 2019 (1x75cl)

A premier cru white Burgundy from Les Perrieres, one of the better-known Meursault vineyard sites. Meursault Chardonnay usually sits on the richer side of white Burgundy, while Perrieres is the site people associate with more tension and a stony edge.

Save it for something worth it — steamed fish with ginger, roast chicken, scallops, or a lobster dinner. Pull it out of the fridge about fifteen minutes before pouring; too cold and you miss most of it.

Tasting notes

Premier cru Meursault typically shows white peach, lemon curd, hazelnut and a wet-stone note, with a creamy texture and a long, firm finish. Serve around 11-13C in a larger glass.
