CHATEAU TALBOT Caillou Blanc 2016 (1x75cl)

Caillou Blanc is the white wine from Chateau Talbot, bottled as Bordeaux Blanc rather than under the estate's red appellation. It is the answer when someone at the table wants white but the rest of the night is going red.

Sauvignon Blanc gives it lift and Semillon fills it out, which is a useful combination with steamed fish, prawns or a cheese course. It also makes a slightly unexpected gift for someone who already owns plenty of red Bordeaux.

Tasting notes

A Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon blend from Bordeaux usually shows citrus and white peach with a fuller, waxier texture than Sauvignon alone. Serve around 10-12°C.
