Pape Clément is planted on one of the oldest documented vineyard sites in Bordeaux, with a history linked back to Pope Clement V. Pessac-Léognan reds from here are usually Cabernet-Merlot blends with a touch of the region's characteristic graphite and smoke.

A name with enough history behind it to make a memorable gift, even for someone who already has a well-stocked cellar.
