Château Lascombes is a Second Growth from Margaux. 2017 was a Bordeaux vintage affected by spring frost across parts of the region, which cut yields in many vineyards that year.

Still a Second Growth Margaux at heart, from a trickier year to farm.

Tasting notes

Margaux Second Growths are usually Cabernet Sauvignon-led with violet and blackcurrant aromatics. A frost-affected vintage like 2017 doesn't change the style so much as the volume produced.
