Chateau Duhart Milon 2018 (1x75cl)

A Pauillac red from 2018 — still young. Pauillac is the Cabernet Sauvignon heartland of the left bank, so the wines usually come out structured and built for time rather than soft and immediate.

You can drink it now with a long decant and something rich like short ribs, or put it away for a few years. Either way it makes a solid client gift, since Pauillac on a label is understood in Hong Kong without explanation.

Tasting notes

Young Pauillac typically shows blackcurrant, graphite and cedar with firm, grippy tannins that need air or a few years. Decant for at least an hour and serve around 17C.
