Fifty-plus years in bottle. Be honest with yourself about what that means: wines this old vary enormously from bottle to bottle depending on storage history, and nobody can tell you the condition before the cork comes out. This one is for someone who understands old wine and accepts that.

Tasting notes

Pauillac at this kind of age typically moves away from fruit entirely towards dried leaves, tobacco, old leather and earth, with tannins mostly resolved.
