Pomerol reds are usually built mostly on Merlot, giving wines that are plush, silky and rounder than their left-bank counterparts. Blason de l'Évangile is the second wine of Château L'Évangile, made in a more approachable style while still reflecting Pomerol character.

Expect black plum and dark cherry notes with a silky texture and soft, rounded tannins typical of Pomerol.
