Balblair is a Highland distillery in Edderton. The 21 Year Old spends its first 15 years in ex-bourbon and double-first-fill American oak casks, then six more years in hand-selected butts that once held Oloroso sherry.

Tasting notes

Colour: golden amber.

Aroma: ripe pineapple and apricot, with vanilla warmed by cinnamon and nutmeg.

Palate: orchard fruits, cinnamon and rich sherry depth.

Finish: dark chocolate and ripe tropical fruit, with a lasting warmth of vanilla.
