AnCnoc Peatheart Single Malt Batch 3 (1x70cl)

anCnoc, from the Knockdhu distillery in the Highlands, is usually known for clean unpeated malt — Peatheart is the smoky side of the house. If you have a friend who only drinks Islay, this is a fun bottle to put in front of them.

Good for a slow evening with one large ice cube, or a couple of drops of water to open it up. Also a decent gift for the whisky drinker who thinks they've tried everything.

Tasting notes

Peated Highland malt like this typically shows campfire smoke and dried herbs over a malty, orchard-fruit core, with a touch of sweetness before a dry, ashy finish. Add a splash of water if the smoke feels tight.
