Frequently Asked Questions
Delivery
How much is delivery?
Free anywhere in Hong Kong on orders over HK$800. Under HK$800, delivery is a flat HK$80.
Is there a minimum order?
No. You can order a single bottle.
How long does delivery take?
2–5 business days for standard local delivery.
Can I get it today?
Yes. Same-day and urgent delivery can usually be arranged. The charge depends on the time and location, typically HK$200–500. WhatsApp us on +852 6035 9497 to arrange it.
Do you deliver to hotels?
Yes, to hotels across Hong Kong. You do not need to be there — the front desk or concierge can receive it on your behalf. Just enter the hotel name and your room number, or the name the booking is under. More on hotel delivery.
Do I need to choose a delivery time?
No. Standard delivery does not require a time slot. If you need a specific window, tell us — timed or urgent delivery may carry an extra charge.
Do you ship outside Hong Kong?
We deliver within Hong Kong only.
Can I take the bottles on a plane?
Yes, in checked baggage. If you are flying with them, add a note at checkout and we will use reinforced packaging built for air travel. Please tell us before dispatch — we cannot repack after delivery.
Ordering & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, JCB, Diners Club, Discover and Maestro.
Can I order by WhatsApp?
Yes. Message +852 6035 9497 during office hours, Monday to Friday, 10am–6pm.
What is your returns policy?
Please check your order on delivery — our driver will wait. If anything is damaged or wrong, tell us there and then and we will replace or refund it. If you notice a problem afterwards, contact us within 24 hours with a photo. See our Returns & Refunds policy for full details.
Wine
Is wine cheaper in Hong Kong?
Often, yes. Hong Kong abolished duty on wine in 2008 and has no sales tax or VAT. In most producing countries a bottle carries excise duty plus VAT of 20% or more, so the same wine can cost less here than at the source. Spirits above 30% ABV still carry duty, though this was reduced in October 2024.
How do I choose a champagne?
Non-vintage brut is the everyday bottle and the safest choice as a gift. Blanc de blancs is 100% Chardonnay — lighter, good before dinner. Rosé champagne handles richer food. Vintage is declared only in stronger years, and is the one worth keeping. Browse champagne.
How should I store wine in Hong Kong?
Hong Kong's heat and humidity are hard on wine. If you do not have a wine fridge, buy what you plan to drink within a few weeks rather than building a stock at home. That is one reason we have no minimum order — buy a bottle or two when you need them.
Do you sell older vintages?
Yes. Bottles over 10 years old may be past their peak and cork condition varies. Please read the notes before buying — see our Returns & Refunds policy.
