Where they come from, and what to expect. We buy on the secondary market through suppliers we deal with regularly, our sommelier checks fill level and capsule before anything is listed, and the bottles sit in our own temperature-controlled warehouse rather than a flat. That is the honest answer to why these are priced below auction. Older wine still varies bottle to bottle — a wine over ten years old may be past its window and cork condition differs. Read the notes on each listing before you buy.
