Only 900 bottles made, aged 18 months in 3 oak barrels among which 2 were new oak barrels. Bottling date in May 2019. Slightly deeper colored and from a cooler, east-facing site, the 2017 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Echanges gives up a rocking nose of wild strawberries, blueberries, smoked herbs, earth, and graphite. This is a rich, medium to full-bodied, concentrated, and powerful wine, yet it shows more red fruits and flowers with time in the glass and offers beautiful tannins as well as a great finish. Tasted by Jeb Dunnuck in November 2020.
